This year Akshaya Tritiya is on 30 April 2025. People consider buying gold on this day very auspicious. Due to which there is now speculation whether gold can cross Rs 1 lakh by then. Today, the price of 22 carat gold in Delhi is Rs 9,746 per gram and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 97,460. But do you know why the price of gold is jumping so much?

Why is the price of gold rising?
According to media reports, the biggest reason behind the rise in gold prices is the weakening of the dollar and a lot of uncertainty about the US trade policy. But at present, the price of gold remains stable near its highest level ever. At the same time, China's Central Bank has bought three more tonnes of gold in March. Due to this, China's total gold reserves have increased to 2,292 tonnes. Which has now reached a record level. So far this year, China has bought 13 tonnes of gold. China has been increasing its gold reserves for 5 consecutive months. Last year, after a 6-month ban on purchases, purchases started again from November.

Gold trust
Experts say that the share of gold in China's total foreign reserves against the dollar has now increased to 6.5 percent, which was 6 percent last month and 4.6 percent a year ago. While on one hand China is strengthening its reserves, on the other hand Poland is also rapidly accumulating gold.

Current Price of Gold
The price of gold is continuously rising and Akshaya Tritiya is also on 30 April, in view of this, experts believe that the price of gold can go above Rs 1 lakh per 10 grams during the festival. At the same time, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America have also increased their target prices. On this, Goldman has also estimated that by the end of the year, gold will reach $ 3,300 per ounce. So it can be assumed that the price of gold in India can go up to Rs 1 lakh per 10 grams.
